Odinga claims he and Obama are cousins. They are members of the Kenya’s Luo tribe. Odinga admitts to being a Marxist/Soviet styled Communist. Obama actively campaigned for Odinga while Odinga negotiated a “political agreement” with Kenya’s Islamic leaders that would establish Sharia (Islamic) Courts of law, prohibit public displays of or the public worship of Chistianity, deny woman access to education and implement Sharia dress standards for Kenyan woman. Both Obama and Odinga denied the existence of this agreement, as the Washington Times states, “Mr. Odinga had the backing of Kenya’s Muslim community heading into the election. For months he denied any ties to Muslim leaders, but fell silent when Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, appeared on Kenya television displaying a memorandum of understanding signed on Aug. 29, 2007, by Mr. Odinga and the Muslim leader. Mr. Odinga then denied his denials, embracing the previously denied agreement.”
The details of the MOU were shocking. In return for Muslim backing, Mr. Odinga promised to impose a number of measures favored by Muslims if he were elected president. Among these were recognition of “Islam as the only true religion,” Islamic leaders would have an “oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions [emphasis in original],” installation of Shariah courts in every jurisdiction, a ban on Christian preaching, replacement of the police commissioner who “allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists,” adoption of a women’s dress code, and bans on alcohol and pork. Contrary to Press Reports – The Luo Tribe, Odinga and Obama’s Tribe, is not the predominant ethnic group in Kenya. In the interview Obama says a number things that are shocking.
On Coal
Obama says, “So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” Obama also said, “That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in wind, solar, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches. The only thing that I have said with respect to coal, I haven’t been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.”
Despite comments to the contrary – Joe Biden confirmed that the Obama-Biden ticket oppose even clean coal – see the video below where Biden tells an environmental activist who questioned why coal is necessary given clean, effective alternatives like wind and solar, “we’re not supporting clean coal.” Obama/Biden supports clean coal plants in China – but “no coal” for the US. How will this effect America – 50% of American energy is generated from coal fueled energy plants.
In the interview Obama spoke about his energy plan which includes an “aggressive” cap and trade policy which will charge polluters in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions. These statements confirm or were the source of claims that Obama planned to initiate “carbon use” based tax policy in America a policy that the Europeans are trying to impose in Europe. A “carbon use” tax policy would add taxes to heating, electricity and fuel bills, driving up prices of every product consumed in the United States. Carbon use based taxes are one of the most regressive taxes (regressive – the poor and middle class pay more than the rich) that a government can imploy – just like sales taxes. Obama notes that “our electricity rates will “skyrocket”.
Why do the Democrats continue to say “NO” to US based energy assets – “NO” to Coal and “NO” to oil drilling –

Ann Obama left Barack Obama Sr, in August 1961, weeks after Barack Jr’s birth. Ann found funding for her own studies at the University of Washigton while Barack Sr completed his studies at the University of Hawaii. Ann did not attend Obama’s graduation ceremonies and did not return to Hawaii until Obama had moved on to Harvard University.

September 1962 – Barack Sr. begins studies at Harvard University. Obama would meet an American-born teacher named Ruth Nidesand who would return to Kenya with Obama after his graduation from Harvard. Spring 1964 – Barack Obama graduates from Havard University with a Masters degree in Economics.(the degree was awarded in 1965) and Obama returned home to Kenya. Upon his return Obama was hired by Shell Oil Company, however he soon obtained a position as an Economist with the Kenyan Ministry of Transportation. July 1965 – Barack Obama, Sr. publishes an article titled “Problems Facing Our Socialism” in the East Africa Journal. The article was highly critical of the blueprint for national planning titled “African Socialism and Its Applicability to Planning in Kenya”. It had been Mboya, not the “Kennedy Family”, who had provided Obama with his opportunity for education in the US. Myboya’s publication, also called “Sessional Paper 10 on Harambee and the Principles of African Socialism” (adopted by Parliament in 1964) provided a model of government based on “African values” rather than Pro-Soviet Marxism. 5th July 1969 – Tom Mboya was assassinated by Nahashon Isaac Njenga Njorogein in Nairobi. After mboya’s death, Obama could not find another sponsor to help further his career. Obama’s career in Government stagnated. Kenyan journalist Philip Ochieng, who traveled with Obama to America as a fellow student remained Obama’s friend for life. Ochieng, who referred to himself as Obama’s, “old drinking buddy”, recalled that Obama antagonized other officials with his “boasting,” was “excessively fond of Scotch” and ended up in poverty “without a job.” He got into frequent car accidents, one of which led to the amputation of both his legs. In ‘Dreams” Obama states that Obama Sr’s career “was destroyed by a conflict with President Kenyatta”, that assertion is not supported by the facts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama,_Sr.
While it is probabe that President Kenyatta distrusted Obama Sr. on the basis of their different tribal affliations (the animosity between the Kikuyu and Luo tribes continues to this day) it is much more probable that Obama’s betrayal of Tom Mboya and his radical Pro-Soviet Marxism made him an outcast in both the mainstream Luo Tribal Political System and in the greater Pan-African political movement fostered by Mboya and Kenyatta. Acknowledging this would be politically inconvenient for Candidate Obama.
