The Gaza Strip Crisis: Israel & HAMAS – National Sovereignty And The Right To Quarantine

First, the Gaza Strip is a piece of land approximately 260 square kilometers in size, or about the size of Washington D.C. It is located along the northern border of Israel and the Mediterranean Sea. The Gaza Strip’s western border is shared with the nation of Egypt.


The Gaza Strip is not a sovereign nation, it remains, officially, a part of the sovereign nation state of Israel. 

Pre World War II – British Palestine

In 1922, shortly after the end of World War I, The League of Nations, the predecessor to the current United Nations, approved the British Mandate for Palestine.

The intent of the League of Nations was for the British Empire to replace the defeated Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I and to assume responsibility for administering the Government of Palestine. Palestine had been conquered by the Ottoman Empire in the early 16th century and had not had an independent Government for almost 500 years. Remember, the United States is not quite 250 years old today.  

The Ottoman Empire had fought on the side of Germany and the other “Central Powers” in WWI against the United States, England and France. The Ottoman Empire was centered in what is today called Turkey.  It is ironic that the “flotilla” of ships at the heart of today’s story set sail from modern day Turkey.  

The “Mandate for Palestine” stated, in part: Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have also agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the declaration originally made on November 2nd, 1917, by the Government of His Britannic Majesty, and adopted by the said Powers, in favour of the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.

In the years prior to World War II, most Arabs and Jews lived side by side, peacefully, in Palestine, however, following World War I there were those Arabs who never relinquished their allegiance to the old Ottoman Empire and the Ottoman Empire’s World War I ally, Germany.

Palestine in World War II

With the collapse of the German economy during the 1930’s and the “Great Depression”, a depression that was felt worldwide, Adolph Hitler came to power in Germany.

Hitler’s Nazis renewed the old allegiances in Palestine and hoped the old allegiances would help Germany succeed in its dreams of international conquest.

It is necessary to stop and examine Hitler’s beliefs as they relate to race.

The main points of Hitler’s mad “ideology” were that: 

  • International relations are an endless and merciless inter-racial struggle for domination.
  • His “racial” division of mankind is a hierarchy, with the “Aryan race” (which included the Germans) the “master race” at the top, followed by the “Nordic” peoples of northern Europe, followed by other nations and races, with the Slav peoples of Eastern Europe at the bottom, and the jews totally outside the hierarchy as a demonic arch-enemy of the Germans.
  • As the master race, the Germans are entitled to, and must, expand their territory by merciless force, and enslave “Lower races”.
  • Particularly, the Germans should occupy the vast lands of Eastern Europe, enslave its peoples, exploit its endless natural and agricultural resources, and fill it with Germans.
  • To be as strong as possible, the Germans must strictly keep their “Racial purity”, and be led by a Fuhrer (leader) of total authority – Adolf Hitler.
  • The Jews, the “Arch enemy”, should be eliminated.
  • Hitler also believed that Communism, and particularly the Soviet Union, were in Jewish control, providing Hitler additional motivation to attack Russia.
  • Finally, with Eastern Europe’s resources in their hands and with the Jews out of the way, The 3rd Reich (Hitler referred to Nazi Germany as the 3rd German Empire in history) will be able to defeat all other nations and dominate the entire world “For at least a thousand years”.

While Anti-Semitism was not wide spread in the middle east prior to World War II, Hitler and the Nazi’s identified with and sought out Anti-Semitic Arab leaders who saw common cause with Germany in a desire to defeat the Allied Powers (The United States, France, England and The Soviet Union) and to effect a final solution to the Jews. A solution commonly called the Holocaust.

One example of the Pro-Nazi anti Allied sentiment in the pre WWII Middle East is the current country of Iran, home of HAMAS, the militant anti-Semitic group, currently in control of the Gaza Strip and sworn to the destruction of Israel and all Jews. Yes, HAMAS is pledged to a modern day holocaust while they deny that the original holocaust ever took place. It is HAMAS that is currently smuggling thousands of weapons and missiles into the Gaza Strip. Weapons to be used against Jews and fellow Palestinians alike.

What does this have to do with modern Iran, you might be asking. Well, prior to 1935, Iran was called the “Persian Empire”. Yes, in all those movies and bible stories, when you hear of the Great Persian Empire, they are talking about modern day Iran. When you watched the movie, “The 300”, it was the armies of mighty Xerxes, the armies of ancient Persia, fighting the Spartans at Thermopylae.                                                                  

You might be asking what happened in 1935?   On March 21, 1935, the “Persian Government” asked World Leaders to refer to “Persia” by its native name, “Iran“, or “Land of the Aryans“. Yes, the same “Aryans” of Hitlers demonic master race.                                                                 

Post WWII Palestine

The Arabic supporters of the Nazi’s and the Axis Powers in World War II fared no better than their counter parts after World War I. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Amin al-Husayni, (Who was Mufti from 1921 to 1948), not only sided with the Nazis but eventually took refuge in Nazi Germany during the war and helped create two divisions of Muslim SS troops to fight in the Balkans for Hitler and the Nazis. After the War he was convicted of war crimes.

During his life the Mufti helped found the following terrorists groups or their predecessors; the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and The Muslim Brotherhood. These organizations are the predecessors of The Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS), Hizballah, Fatah al – Islam and al- Qaeda.                                                            

Yes, the beliefs of today’s terrorists are tied, in part, to the lunacy of Hitler’s Third Reich in WWII. 

At one time, or another, these terrorists groups have attempted the overthrow of the following Arabic Governments: Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia. The Muslim Brotherhood claimed responsibility for the assassination of Egyptian President and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Anwar Sadat and were responsible for the overthrow of the Iranian Government during the Administration of American President Jimmy Carter. ,

Fast Forward: Israel & The Gaza Strip 1993 – 2010

In 1993 the Government of Israel entered into negotiations with Yasser Arafat and the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization). 

These negotiations went on for 6 years, until 1999, when the last of a group of agreements were signed that provided for “a transitional period of self rule” based on a “set of on reciprocal steps by the two parties” which were intended to result “in the creation of two separate and independent states“, one the Sovereign state of Israel and a second Palestinian State. 

The Principles that were first signed on September 13, 1993 state, “The Government of the State of Israel and the P.L.O. team (in the Jordanian-Palestinian delegation to the Middle East Peace Conference or the “Palestinian Delegation”), representing the Palestinian people, agree that it is time to put an end to decades of confrontation and conflict, recognize their mutual legitimate and political rights, and strive to live in peaceful coexistence and mutual dignity and security and achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace settlement and historic reconciliation through the agreed political process. Accordingly, the, two sides agree to the following principles

The principles called for free and democratic elections supervised by a Palestinian Police Force (Article III): “In order that the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip may govern themselves according to democratic principles, direct, free and general political elections will be held for the Council under agreed supervision and international observation, while the Palestinian police will ensure public order.”

Article 4 of the Principles applied to the areas referred to as the “West Bank” and the “Gaza Strip” and stated that both geographic areas would be considered one political entity: “The two sides view the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as a single territorial unit, whose integrity will be preserved”


Article 6 of the “principles” noted the limited transfer of authority to the Palestinian Authority, “Immediately after the entry into force of this Declaration of Principles and the withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and Jericho area, with the view to promoting economic development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, authority will be transferred to the Palestinians on the following spheres: education and culture, health, social welfare, direct taxation, and tourism. The Palestinian side will commence in building the Palestinian police force, as agreed upon. Pending the inauguration of the Council, the two parties may negotiate the transfer of additional powers and responsibilities, as agreed upon.”                                                                                                                                      

The Palestinian Authority was charged with certain responsibilities in Article VII: “In order to enable the Council to promote economic growth, upon its inauguration, the Council will establish, among other things, a Palestinian Electricity Authority, a Gaza Sea Port Authority, a Palestinian Development Bank, a Palestinian Export Promotion Board, a Palestinian Environmental Authority, a Palestinian Land Authority and a Palestinian Water Administration Authority, and any other Authorities agreed upon, in accordance with the Interim Agreement that will specify their powers and responsibilities. After the inauguration of the Council, the Civil Administration will be dissolved, and the Israeli military government will be withdrawn.

The Israeli Government retained certain authority over the Gaza Strip and West Bank in Article VIII: “In order to guarantee public order and internal security for the Palestinians of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the Council will establish a strong police force, while Israel will continue to carry the responsibility for defending against external threats, as well as the responsibility for overall security of Israelis for the purpose of safeguarding their internal security and public order. The withdrawal of the military government will not prevent Israel from exercising the powers and responsibilities not transferred to the Council.”

The principles included provisions for the resettlement of individuals displaced by the 1967 Arab – Israeli War and laid the ground work for establishing relations between the “Palestinian Authority” and the Governments of Egypt & Jordan: “The two parties will invite the Governments of Jordan and Egypt to participate in establishing further liaison and cooperation arrangements between the Government of Israel and the Palestinian representatives, on the one hand, and the Governments of Jordan and Egypt, on the other hand, to promote cooperation between them. These arrangements will include the constitution of a Continuing Committee that will decide by agreement on the modalities of admission of persons displaced from the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967, together with necessary measures to prevent disruption and disorder. Other matters of common concern will be dealt with by this Committee”.

Israel agreed to withdraw its troops from the Gaza Strip & the West Bank: “After the entry into force of this Declaration of Principles, and not later than the eve of elections for the Council, a redeployment of Israeli military forces in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip will take place, in addition to withdrawal of Israeli forces”.

Prior to signing these accords on September 13, 1993, Yasser Arafat, Founder of the PLO and the “President” of the Palestinian Authority, made the follow statement on behalf of the PLO, on September 9, 2003: “The PLO recognizes the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security”. “Numerous leaders within the PLO and the PA, including Yasser Arafat himself, have declared that the State of Israel has a permanent right to exist and that the peace treaty with Israel is genuine”. “The text of the Palestine National Charter as amended in 1968 contains many clauses calling for the destruction of the state of Israel. In letters exchanged between Arafat and Rabin in conjunction with the 1993 Oslo Accords, Arafat agreed that those clauses would be removed. On 26 April, 1996, the Palestine National Council voted to nullify or amend all such clauses, and called for a new text to be produced. A letter from Arafat to US President Clinton in 1998 listed the clauses concerned, and a meeting of the Palestine Central Committee approved that list. A public meeting of PLO, PNC and PCC members also confirmed the letter in Clinton’s presence. Nevertheless, a new text of the Charter has never been produced, and this is the source of a continuing controversy. Critics of the Palestinian organizations claim that failure to produce a new text proves the insincerity of the clause nullifications.” QUOTES IN THIS PARAGRAPH ARE FROM THE OFFICIAL PLO WEB SITE:


“Palestinians are no strangers to compromise. In the 1993 Oslo Accords, we agreed to recognize Israeli sovereignty over 78 percent of historic Palestine and to establish a Palestinian state on only 22 percent.” — Saeb Erekat, Chief Palestinian negotiator, August 5, 2000

In his April 22, 2004 interview with the Jordanian newspaper Al-Arab, the PLO minister still living in Tunisia Farouk Kaddoumi said that the PLO charter was never changed so as to recognize Israel’s right to exist. “The Palestinian national charter has not been amended until now. It was said that some articles are no longer effective, but they were not changed. I’m one of those who didn’t agree to any changes.” He said also: “…the national struggle must continue. I mean the armed struggle… Fatah was established on the basis of the armed struggle and that this was the only way to leading to political negotiations that would force the enemy to accept our national aspirations. Therefore there is no struggle other than the armed military struggle… If Israel wants to leave the Gaza Strip, then it should do so. This means that the Palestinian resistance has forced it to leave. But the resistance will continue. Let the Gaza Strip be South Vietnam. We will use all available methods to liberate North Vietnam.”

In 1999 Israel completed the transfer of civilian governmental authority in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian Authority.  Israel also withdrew its military and dismantled Jewish settlements.

In early 2000 The Islamic Resistance Movement or  HAMAS began rocket attacks and IED (improvised explosive device) attacks against Israel. Yes, the same IEDs used against American troops in Iraq & Afghanistan, IEDs manufactured in Iran.

HAMAS challenged Yasser Arafat’s authority to negotiate the 1993 agreements with Israel and has refused to recognize the “agreements” or to concede that the State of Israel or its Jewish citizens have a “right to exist”. 

“The Islamic militant group HAMAS has no intention of recognizing Israel’s right to exist and will not change its charter advocating the destruction of the Jewish state”

“31 January 2006 (RFE/RL) — The Palestinian militant group The Islamic Resistance Group or HAMAS says it rejects international pressure to recognize Israel and disarm”.

The fighting between HAMAS and Israel and HAMAS and the PLO continued to escalate until the death of Yasser Arafat in November 2004.

The decrease  in violence following Arafat’s death was brief, with the attacks resuming in early 2005. By 2006, the violence reached proportions similar to that in Jordan in 1970 and Lebanon in the 1990’s, the violence is described by Arabs as the “Palestinian Civil War”.

The infighting between the PLO (Fatah) and HAMAS was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians and provided cover for continued attacks against Israel.

The conflict is called Wakseh among Palestinians, meaning humiliation, ruin, and collapse as a result of self-inflicted damage.

In February 2007 the PLO (Fatah) and HAMAS agreed to create a “Palestinian National Unity Government” or “NUG”, however, HAMAS continued its attacks in the Gaza Strip and in June 2007 HAMAS succeeded in a violent takeover of all military and governmental institutions in the Gaza Strip. Thousands of PLO supporters were killed by HAMAS. The NUG was dismissed by the PLO and an independent government was formed by the PLO in the West Bank.   

At present Fatah (PLO) controls the larger West Bank, while HAMAS is in control of the Gaza Strip, a situation clearly not contemplated in the peace accords, which state that the West Bank and Gaza Strip shall be treated as a single political entity.

In January 2009 the Israeli military re-entered the Gaza Strip in response to the increasing missile attacks by HAMAS on Jewish cities located along the Gaza border. Israel, had not, as is frequently misreported, surrendered the right to reintroduce a military presence into the Gaza Strip – The Palestinian Authority has never been granted the rights of an Independent State as it has never met its obligations under the Principles signed in 1993. After a 3 week operation in the Gaza, Israeli withdrew its troops before the end of January 2009.

While HAMAS continues its fight against their Palestinian brothers in Fatah/PLO they also are smuggling arms and missiles into the Gaza Strip from Iran and launching attacks against Israel.

Contrary to what the American and International Press would have you believe, HAMAS does not represent all Palestinians nor does it represent a majority of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. A significant number of the HAMAS fighters are not even Palestinian or even Arabic but are instead Iranians and Persian.

The Israeli Government made this comment 18 months ago, “”Another one-way ceasefire that leads to rocket attacks on Israel is not acceptable”,  “There must be monitoring mechanisms in place to help ensure the smuggling of weapons to terrorist groups in Gaza comes to an end… I urge all parties to pressure HAMAS to turn away from terror and to support legitimate Palestinian leaders working for peace.”

The Obama Administration has been silent and failed to support the Israeli Government’s call for an end to the violence. The Obama Administration, unlike all previous American Administrations, has abandoned Fatah/PLO as the representative of the Palestinian People and has instead embraced the Iranian based HAMAS who refuse to even concede that Israel has a right to exist.

HAMAS’ missile attacks on Israel continue: , , , ,

In 2009 it was reported that over 8,600 rockets had been launched by HAMAS into the Israeli cities of Sderot, Ashkleon, Ashdod and Beersheba.

The missile attacks are, in fact, defined as “war crimes” by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch because the attacks target innocent civilians.  

The United Nations reported that in one month alone HAMAS  launched “some 800 rockets and mortar shells into Israel”. In February 2010, just 3 months ago, “The HAMAS government in Gaza on Saturday backtracked on its apology earlier this week in which it expressed regret for harming Israeli civilians in rocket attacks. The apology had signaled a rare deviation from HAMAS’ violent ideology, and the subsequent zigzag reflects the Islamic militants’ conflicting objectives. HAMAS, which seized Gaza by force in 2007, is trying to reach out to the West in hopes of winning recognition and getting Israel to lift its blockade of Gaza. However, HAMAS or The Islamic Resistance Movement is also reluctant to discard its violent ideology for fear of losing credibility at home.”


Today, June 2nd, 2010, Israeli is not conducting an “Economic Embargo” of the Gaza Strip as has been claimed.

Israeli has not enforced an “economic embargo” of the Gaza Strip since 2007 and HAMAS’ initial attack on the Palestinian Authority Government. That 2007 embargo was put in place at the request of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Fatah).

The Governments of Israeli and Egypt have “blockaded” the Gaza Strip since June 2007 and the renewed civil war between HAMAS and the PLO (Fatah). Israel maintains that the blockade is necessary to limit Palestinian rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip on its cities and to prevent HAMAS from obtaining other weapons. Egypt maintains that it cannot open the Rafah crossing since opening the border would represent Egyptian recognition of the HAMAS control of Gaza, undermine the legitimacy of the Palestinian National Authority and consecrate the split between Gaza and the West Bank. The “blockade” concerns arms. Humanitarian aid still flows into the Gaza.

GAZA STRIP AID 2008 – 2009

Over $4.5 billion in aid was promised to the Gaza Strip in 2008 -2009. Remember, Gaza is the size of Washington D.C.. Unfortunately, HAMAS has prevented much of the aid from being delivered – not the story being reported on your evening news is it?

On 12 January, HAMAS raided some 100 aid trucks entering Gaza, stole their contents and sold them to the highest bidders. On 20 January, gunmen from HAMAS’ armed militant wing seized 12 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid that had been donated by the Jordanian government to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to Jordanian and Palestinian Authority officials. On 3 February, 3,500 blankets and over 400 food parcels were confiscated by HAMAS police personnel from an UNRWA distribution center. On the following day, the UN Emergency Relief Coordinator demanded that the aid be returned immediately. In a separate incident on 5 February, HAMAS seized 200 tons of food from UNRWA aid supplies. The following day, UNRWA suspended its activities in Gaza. HAMAS issued a statement stating that the incident was a misunderstanding between the drivers of the trucks and had been resolved through direct contact with the UNRWA. On 9 February, UNRWA lifted the suspension on the movement of its humanitarian supplies into Gaza, after the HAMAS authorities returned all of the aid supplies confiscated. Some local Gaza NGOs providing emergency aid stated that HAMAS had ordered them to stop operating because it suspected they were affiliated with rival group Fatah.  , .

Summary of Facts

1). Israel is not acting alone. Both the Israel and Egypt Governments are enforcing a “blockade” of the Gaza Strip. A blockade not an economic embargo as is falsely claimed.

2). All shipments of goods into the Gaza Strip are searched before being allowed entry. The Israeli and Egyptian Governments are trying to prevent the illegal shipment of guns and rockets into the Gaza Strip, illegal weapons which HAMAS has used against both Israel and the Palestinians in the Gaza.

3). HAMAS opposes the peace treaty brokered by Yasser Arafat (PLO/Fatah) between 1993 and 1999 and maintains their fanatical commitment to the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. A position frequently echoed by HAMAS’ main sponsor, Iran.

4) HAMAS has called for the destruction of not just Israel, but also of the PLO (Fatah) for what HAMAS calls the treasonous peace negotiations with Israel. Let us not forget that HAMAS has also called for “Death to America, The Great Satan”.

5). HAMAS has been guilty of misappropriating humanitarian supplies after they have reached the Gaza Strip and have prevented International Aid workers from distributing supplies to the villages HAMAS associates with the rival PLO (Fatah) group.

6). Israel violated no international laws when it boarded the ships at sea. Why these alleged “humanitarians” refuse to allow inspection of their cargo is beyond explanation. Why would any humanitarian group object to making sure that weapons had not been smuggled onto their ships? Weapons that might be used, not just against innocent Israeli citizens, but the innocent Palestinians as well, the innocent Palestinians the self proclaimed Humanitarians claim to want to help.

As HAMAS is actively working to destroy the Israeli Peace Process and to militarily defeat those Palestinians who want to pursue a peaceful co-existence with Israeli, why are these alleged “humanitarians” siding with Hamas? They are not siding, as they so frequently claim, with the peaceful People of Palestine.



Obama’s Policy With Iran Fails – History Repeats Itself – Iranians Detain British Embassy Staff –

EDITOR’S NOTE: Iranian authorities have barred journalists for international news organizations from reporting on the streets and ordered them to stay in their offices. This report is based on the accounts of witnesses reached in Iran and official statements carried on Iranian media.

Iranian authorities have detained several local employees of the British Embassy in Iran, a move that Britain’s foreign secretary Sunday called “harassment and intimidation.”

Iranian media reported Sunday that eight local embassy staff were detained for an alleged role in post-election protests, but gave no further details. British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said the employees were detained Saturday, but did not say how many were taken into custody.

The detentions signaled a further hardening of Iran’s stance toward the West which has become increasingly vocal in its condemnation of a crackdown on opposition supporters.

Opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi has alleged massive fraud in the June 12 presidential election and says he is the rightful winner, not President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Miliband, who is on the Greek island of Corfu for a foreign ministers’ meeting, said Britain has lodged a protest with the Iranian authorities over the detentions. He described the step as “harassment and intimidation of a kind that is quite unacceptable.”

“The idea that the British Embassy is somehow behind the demonstrations and protests that have been taking place in Tehran. … is wholly without foundation,” he said.

In November 1979 radical student revolutionaries, supported by the radical Islamic Cleric Ruhollah Khomeini, seized the American Embassy and held American Diplomats hostage for the next 444 days. The Embassy was seized during the presidency of Jimmy Carter and the hostages were not released until just minutes after President Ronald Reagan was sworn in on January 20, 1981.  

The act of seizing an Embassy or doing harm to Embassy personal violates both International Law and the teachings of the Quran as relayed by the Prophet Muhhamad, peace be upon him, the founder of the Islamic religion.  (see: Al-Harith bin ‘Umar Al-Azdi) 

Once again, the political leaders in Iran demonstrate, by their actions, their belief that they are “above” the teachings of the Quran and exempt from its directives.

Former Iranian President Bani Sadr (Abolhassan Banisadr – ) the first Elected President of Iran following the “Islamic Revolution” has identified current Iranian President Mammoud Ahmadinejad as one of the leaders of the Group who seized the American Embassy and while Ahmadinejad may have had doubts about seizing the embassy, he did nothing to stop the action and did, in fact, fully support the continued detention of the Embassy Staff after the Ayatollah Khomeini “endorsed” the seizure. Five of the American hostages have identified Ahmadinejad as one of their captors.

Obama has mishandled the “New Iranian Crisis” as badly as Carter mishandled the first Iranian Crisis 30 years ago. A failure to understand history is leading to it being repeated or extended …. the current crisis is clearly tied to the original of some 30 years ago.

Talk rather than action. Slogans over substance. Obama and Carter. History repeating itself.

30 years ago a small and violent group of demonstrators seized power in Iran. Now 30 years later, the Iranian people are attempting to reclaim their freedom while the repressive Iranian Government violates both International Law and the basic tenants of Islam.

Islam is a just religion. Islam does not permit the supression of it’s people for the sake of securing power for the few. Tyrants are tyrants because their actions are unjust and self serving.

Obama’ narcissism leads to the dangerous delusion that the tyrants in charge in Iran will be swayed from their course of violent supression of the Iranian people or be dissuaded from their reckless course of nuclear weapons production by the pure “force” of Obama’s rhetoric.

The “Free World” needs more from its leader than his narcissism.

On November 20 1979 a group of “Islamic militants” seized the Grand Mosque, the holiest site in Islam, located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  The seizure was timed to take place during the haji or annual pilgrimage. November 20 marked the 1st day of the Islamic New Year and the seizure took place as 50,000 worshipers were preparing for morning prayer. At the time the Saudi bin-Laden Group (yes that bin- Laden family) was involved with renovating the Mosque. 500 armed “militants” or terrorists took control of the mosque and executed both security staff and worshippers. By the time the mosque was retaken from these terrorists, hundreds of worshippers had been killed.

The Iranian Government falsely claimed that the U.S. Government was behind the attack on the Grand Mosque, triggering anti American attacks around the world.   

The Grand Mosque was seized less than 2 weeks after the US Embassy was seized. The Grand Mosque was seized as international pressure was mounting against the “revolutionary” activities in Iran.  The seizure of the Grand Mosque was not a protest against the United States, it was a coldly calculated action aimed at gaining false support for Khomeini and his “Revolutionary Guards” in Iran.

What type of leaders conduct themselves in this manner? Seizing one of the worlds holiest sites during a religous holiday! Slaughtering innocent worshippers! What does this tell us about the belief system of  those who planned the seizure?

In 1933, Hitler’s Nazi Party set fire to the Riechstag, the German equivalent of the Capital Building in Washington D.C. The Nazi’s then blamed the act on their political enemies and declared martial law, eliminating many of the freedoms previously enjoyed by the German people.                                                                                                      

The “revolutionaries” who continue to run Iran this day, used a lie concerning their desecration of the Grand Mosque to consolidate their power in Iran. To this day the Iranian’s have been denied a “free election” and have never regained the personal freedoms taken from them under the guise of “revolution”.  

The Iranian leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, made the following comment in 2005, “They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets,”.

In October 2005  Ahmadinejad said this,                                                                                                                                                                                                  

“The establishment of the Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world,” during a conference in Tehran on Wednesday, entitled The World without Zionism. “The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land,” he said. “As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map,” said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran’s revolutionary leader Ayat Allah Khomeini. Addressing about 4000 students gathered in an Interior Ministry conference hall, Ahmadinejad also called for Palestinian unity, resistance and a point “where the annihilation of the Zionist regime will come“. “The Islamic umma (community) will not allow its historic enemy to live in its heartland,” he said in the fiery speech that centred on a “historic war between the oppressor and the world of Islam”. 

The “oppressor” is not Israel but the United States. 

Where was this historic speech reported?, not by some Pro-Israel or Pro-West news organization – check the site above for yourself.

These are not isolated statements byAhmadinejad:

The ruling elite in Iran are not the true face of Islam, they are the most recent reincarnation of  World War II’s Nazi Party. 

“Once I am really am in power, my first and foremost task will be the annihilation of the Jews. As soon as I have the power to do so, I will have gallows built in rows – at the Marienplatz in Munich, for example – as many as traffic allows. Then the Jews will be hanged indiscriminately, and they will remain hanging until they stink; they will hang there as long as the principles of hygiene permit. As soon as they have been untied, the next batch will be strung up, and so on down the line, until the last Jew in Munich has been exterminated. Other cities will follow suit, precisely in this fashion, until all Germany has been completely cleansed of Jews.” (1)  Adolph Hitler, 1922.

No wonder the Iranian people want “change”.

All of these events, speeches, proclamations and threats took place prior to Obama’s inauguration. So why then, did Obama chose to embrace Ahmadinejad at Israel’s expense? . In Israel there is a growing consensus that Obama’s policies are hostile to Israel and that like his predecessor, Jimmy Carter, Obama favors Hamas over Israel.

Hamas is the Palestinian based Terrorist organization, funded by Iran and Syria,  that is intent on the total destruction of Israel and its replacement by a Fundamentalist Islamic State. A state modeled after the current Government in Iran.  

So much for the Quranic teachings that, “The teachings of the Qur’an favour mutual respect and coexistence with other religions. According to the Qur’an, the Prophet Mohamed told the non-believers “Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion (CIX: 6).” In another verse, the Qur’an declares, “Let there be no compulsion in religion (II: 256).”

 Ahmadinejad’s current “rants” are just another example of man perverting religion for self enrichment and self promotion. The same thing Hitler did in WWII.

Can Hamas be trusted?  Hamas is an off shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

On March 26,1979 Egyptian President Anwar Sadat signed a negotiated Peace Treaty with Israel.  The Treaty is the only one to be negotiated between Israel and it’s Arab neighbors. On October 6, 1981, Sadat was assassinated. Sadat’s killers were linked to Hamas through the Muslim Brotherhood. The killers stated that Sadat was killed for entering into the Peace Treaty with Israel. ,

And after the Jews and “Zionists” are gone who is next on Ahmadinejad’s list?

After Sadat’s assasination Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, who was later convicted of conspiring to blow up the World Trade Towers in New York City and Ayman al-Zawahiri, one of Osama bin Laden’s top lieutenants, were arrested in Egypt and jailed for their part in the assassination. .

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in the 1920’s by Hassan Al-Bana at the same time Hitler’s Nazi Party was coming into being. The two, Hitler’s Nazi party and the Muslim Brotherhood were allies during World War II. Remember, there was no State of Israel at this time, just a shared anti-semitism between the groups, a hatred of Western style Democracy and a desire to rule the world. The leader of the Brotherhood’s Palestine operations was the “Grand Mufti of Jerusalem”, Muhhamed Amin el- Husseini. The Mufti spent much of WWII in Berlin furthering the Nazi cause. The Mufti helped form an Arabic Division of the SS, a Division responsible for war crimes throughout the Balkan states and Yugoslavia. . The Mufti was convicted of war crimes at the Nuremberg Trials at the end of World WarII, but escaped punishment as he had been granted asylum in Egypt by future Egyptian President Gamal Abd’el Nasser. Nasser was a member of  a group of young military officers who overthrew the Egpytian Monarchy in 1952. On November 17, 1954 Nasser became Egypt’s 2nd President. Nasser remained as Egypt’s Pesident until his death in 1970, when he was succeeded by Anwar Sadat. Sadat had been a close confidant of Nasser’s and had been a member of “Free Officers Group” which had led the overthrow of Egypt’s Monarchy in 1952.  How ironic that Sadat, Nasser’s confidant and second in command, the man to bring peace to Egypt after 30 years of unsuccessful war against Israel, would die at the hands of the Grand Mufti’s supporters, when the Grand Mufti would have been executed for “crimes against humanity”, like so many other Nazi’s, had it not been for Nasser’s asylum.     

In 1940’s, the Mufti requested that the Axis powers acknowledge the Arab right, “to settle the question of Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries in accordance with the national and racial interests of the Arabs and along the lines similar to those used to solve the Jewish question in Germany and Italy”. Rhetoric eerily similar to that spouted by Ahmadinejad today.

The “conflict” started long before Obama was “chooming” on the street corners of Hawaii. It started in the 1920’s and continued in the run up to World War II. In some circles it continues unabated today. The Jewish question is not the only “question” the militants want to eliminate. Like Hitler, the desire to eliminate is founded in unbridled, irrational and pathological hatred.

How bizarre that today, Jimmy Carter embraces Hamas, the very group responsible for killing Egypt’s President Anwar Sadat. That Hamas killed Sadat for making peace with Israel, a peace that Carter desparately tries to associate himself with and claim credit for.

Prior to World War II, as Hitler was consolidating his power, and making his first conquests in Europe, many politicians adopted a policy of what is now called “appeasement”. The last act of “appeasement” was the surrendering of the “Sudetenland”, a large part of Czechoslovakia, to Hitler’s Germany in 1938. This act of appeasement occurred on September 29, 1938.

Upon returning from Munich on September 30, 1938, where he had given away the “Sudetenland”, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain proclaimed, “”My good friends this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honor. I believe it is peace in our time.” ,                                                                                                                        

Less than 1 year later, on September 1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland and launched World War II. 

In September of 1939 there were Americans who agreed with the policy of appeasement and actually supported Hitler. These Americans represented a very small minority of  the country. Many of America’s rich and famous supported appeasement, including Joseph P. Kennedy, the American Embassador to England at the start of World War II and father of future President John F. Kennedy.

President Kennedy on the other hand, authored a  thesis his senior year at Harvard (1940 – a year after the war in europe had started, but prior to America’s entry into the war) titled, “Why England Slept”, (originally titled “Appeasement in Munich“) – in which future President Kennedy critized the British Government’s attempts to prevent World War II. The thesis was later published as a book and is available on Amazon. . The United States did not enter World War II until  December 7, 1941 and the attack on Pearl Harbor. Between Spetember 1, 1939 and December 7, 1941 the “appeasers” in America hoped to avoid conflict with the tyrants by “giving them their way”.

Winston Churchill, Britian’s Prime Minister during World War II, published his book, “While England Slept” in 1938, one year before  WWII started.

Hitler published his infamous work “Mein Kampf”, or “My Battle” in 1925. 

Churhill’s predictions in “While England Slept” proved prophetic. What made Churchill prophetic? He took Hitler at his word, both the words he pubished in 1925 and those he spoke afterward.

Just how much of history need we repeat in 2009 and 2010? At what cost later?

Unfortunately, the current leader of the Free-World may in fact be a “megalomaniac” and his narcissistic personality disorder may embolden America’s foes. Empty political slogans and flowery speeches won’t dissuade a tyrant. Neville Chamberlain learned as much. Despite Chamberlain’s proclamation of “peace in our time”, the tyrant had to be stopped by force.

Unfortunately for the Iranian people, he has not, to date, been stopped through the ballot box. Free and fair elections in Iran are about as likely as free and fair elections in Hitler’s Germany.
