9 -11 Remembered: The Ground Zero Mosque & Imam Rauf's Veiled Threat to America

The Imam is trying to tell us that the Militants won on 9-11. That he cannot take into consideration tha familes of the 2700 who died at Ground Zero … that we should only consider … and fear … the feelings of the militants … I think not … but you decide … and then let Mayor Bloomberg and the Imam know and most importantly, VOTE IN NOVEMBER …

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of Ground Zero mosque says plan will move forward in op/ed
 

After weeks of silence, the imam at the center of a controversy over building a mosque near Ground Zero is speaking out. His message is clear: the plan will move forward.

In a new op-ed piece that echoes a similar sentiments he wrote about in May for the Daily News, Feisal Abdul Rauf said he was “awed by how inflamed and emotional” the issue has become.

Rauf stressed in the New York Times op-ed on Wednesday that he was proceeding with the project with the support of the downtown community and officials like President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg—pointing out that Obama is Christian and Bloomberg is Jewish …..

Opponents of the project, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), have said the mosque should be built further away from where Islamic extremists destroyed the World Trade Center and killed nearly 2,800 people.
